NCR (Carbon Copy)
In years past, when people filled out forms, they used a sheet of carbon placed under a piece of paper if they wanted an extra copy of the form without having to Xerox™ it. This was a little messy and a hassle, but it was effective. Now, we have something a little more sophisticated—NCR paper.
NCR (no carbon required) paper is used when additional copies of a form are needed, but instead of using carbon, when the form is being filled out, the pressure of the pen causes components in the paper to react with each other to make the “carbon” impression on underlying sheets.
This next generation paper allows for more options and sizes, providing not only the standard duplicate, but also triplicate, quadruplicate, etc. Cream printing services can provide all the standard NCR sequences and sizes, along with custom sequences and sizes, for all your forms.
